Moving to the Seaside with the Cartier

I am packing the luggage carefully, for I am going to sell this house and move to the seaside. It has always been a dream of mine to live by the sea, feeling the cool sea wind and hearing the sound of seagulls. The sign which reads “on sale” has already been hanging up on the front door, and this might be the last time for me to look around the house where I have spent my last 30 years.
To tell the truth, I am a kind of man who likes adventures and hates life running in a stable way, which makes me feel dull. So I travelled a lot when I was young, experiencing different life styles and meeting different kinds of people. I was like a kite without the controlling line that could rest wherever it landed until I met my wife, who was gentle and beautiful.

                                
I was madly in love with her the first time I saw her in a Cartier jewelry show. The show was running perfectly well, filled with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. I looked casually, appreciating the beauty of every piece of the jewelry, all of which were so perfect and creative in design. And then I met her, dignified and charming as the shining Cartier jewelries. I began pursuing her with every idea I could come up with. After several arranged meetings which seemed like coincidences, she agreed to going out with me. How happy I was at that time!
Unlike me, she preferred a peaceful life rather than a risky one, so I changed my adventurous lifestyle for her. I could still remember the day when she saw the house. She ran from the front door to the back door like a child and gave me a big hug, saying that it was the best gift she had ever received. Of course she loved the house very much; for in the rest of her life, she managed to make it a warm and happy place, where one could totally rest himself/herself after a day’s tiring work.
It has been one year since she passed away, and I miss her so much. I am not able to live in the house any more, for I can feel her almost everywhere but when I reach out my hand, it always grabs nothing. What I need now is a total change of my life. And it seems to be a good idea moving to the seaside.
Wearing the Cartier men’s watch she bought me, I leave the house to the sea. I would never forget her, for she has been so important a part of my life. What I need now is some new air which can support me to live the rest of my life.
